Finance & Accounting Recruiting
From the first controller a company hires to the CFO who takes it through its next stage.
OVERVIEW
Why this practice exists
Finance hiring is unforgiving. A controller who cannot close on time or an FP&A leader who cannot explain a variance shows up as a real cost, and usually after the hire is already in the seat. We recruit across the whole finance organization, in public and private companies, and we can tell the difference between someone who has run a function and someone who sat next to the person who did.
What we screen for
Technical depth verified against real work. Close cycles owned, systems implemented, audits and transactions actually lived through. Then whether the person can hold their own with a CEO and build a team rather than carry the work themselves.
How we engage
Most finance searches run on contingency, with a fee due only when a hire starts. Where a CFO is being replaced while still in the seat, we run the search confidentially on a retained basis.
